Yes a bit of work might help with the foreground, maybe a slight crop off the bottom might help, just above that patch bottom right.		 Aug 3rd

17 Aug 18 Comment I agree with Peter about the stump, it is in a perfect position.I like the viewpoint as it gives a great impression of the State Park terrain, and hoe the river has worn its way down over the centuries. Aug 3rd
17 Aug 18 Comment What a fantastic result from a fairly simple technique. The colours all work well and the square shape suits the pattern. It also stands out well from our black page. Has the image been cropped to get the off centre focal point, I ask because composition wise it is spot on. Aug 3rd

I like the composition and your later adjustments have made it even better for me. Monochrome is perfect for the subject. You have some great detail in the petals, keep the tones as they are.
