Thanks everyone for the comments, I will have to try a mono conversion. |

Well taken. I like the movement of the water and the lighting on the foreground. This is contrasted by the well exposed lighting in and around the lodge. I like the way the reflected light leads the eye across the water between the lodge and the fall. |

I like the shapes and the colour, well seen and taken. The subject just had to be taken and presenting it as a pattern works well. |

This captures the drama of the geyser. The conversion to mono makes it that bit different and suits the subject. As to over doing the conversion, well I think you got it about right for my taste. |

Well seen I love the humour of it. The spanner/wrench is one of those anomalies of our shared language, with me being a spanner man. I agree with Dick on the sharpness of Mom, and Sheldon on the crop from the top, take out Iveco at the very least. |

Enhancing the saturation has turned this into a piece of art rather than a nature image. And personally I like it this way. Composition is perfect and the gold of the water goes well with the flamingoes colour. |

Well taken. A very attractive street, that is all the better for being Mono, it suits the period look of the scene. The right hand light is a slight distraction, but that area needs to be in the frame for balance. Toning it down sufficiently could look even worse. |

Fair comment about the rocks, and you are right I did not place them in position, but at least they are whitish in tone. |

Thanks for the comments. I took this around 8am, just after the ship arrived. I appreciate the fact that the face is in shadow, but by the time it was lit from the other side, the ship had gone and I was many miles away. |

Star pictures always appeal to me, yet I have never attempted to take one.I will take heed of your instructions above and try one. Back to this image. I think the inclusion of the foreground lighting adds very much to the appeal of this picture. The fence on the left is maybe a slight distraction.
Anyway well done. |

A different travel image. I like the background, being soft it does not distract but at the same time it sets the scene. I would also concur with Traceys comments regarding the figures, not something that you had control over unfortunately. |

A nice portrait well taken. Your vignette is effective and not obvious. The expression is good. |

I like the view and the composition. If anything could be improved then it would not be under your control, ie the lighting does not show the scene to its possible best. But when travelling we are restricted to what its like on the day. |

What a spectacular cathedral, you had to take this one. With accompanying sound it must have been wonderful. I like the fact you have included some other people in your scene, even if they are engaged in the same activity as you.I would not change anything. |

Your humour appeals to me. Your editing of the image in removing the fence and other extraneous objects is well done.
The cows are obviously keen to pose for you, well seen. |
