17 Jan 18 Comment These colourful frogs make great subjects. I like this one for its position on the perch and in the frame. Nice and bright colour and sharp in the right places. Any subject with a black background does blend into our pages, I have done it myself. This one does not worry me in that way. Jan 15th

17 Jan 18 Comment I like the humour and the question 'who is watching who'. I like the tight composition and all the crisp detail. The sunlight around the nose and mouth draws the eye to that important part of the portrait. Jan 15th
17 Jan 18 Comment I like the composition and only noticed the fungus after reading Dicks comment. I think it adds to the scene as the colour matches the bridge. I like the reflection and slight ripple of the water. As Peter says it is not a type of bridge we see this side of the pond. Jan 15th

19 Jan 18 Comment A nice butterfly picture I like the soft background in both colour and lack of focus. The bud that you mention, well I feel it helps to fill a kind of empty area of the frame. The butterfly is nice and sharp. Jan 15th

19 Jan 18 Comment A well composed travel picture, showing the interesting building and the visitors to it. I like the inclusion of the fountain as it adds balance. The work on the sky has toned down that area nicely. Jan 15th
