17 Oct 17 Comment A good picture of the Roadrunner. Shame about the tail, but at least you captured it,I like the one foot raised it adds to the sense of movement. The wait was worthwhile. I concur with Peter on the patience of bird photographers, and Ialso lack it. Oct 17th
17 Oct 17 Comment A great picture of the Osprey, I do envy you for the opportunity you get to photograph them so close. On this side of the Atlantic they are very rare and nest sites are well protected from any human interference.I like the composition and the low angle has isolated the bird against the sky. I have learnt something from Joe's comment about the eye colour. Oct 17th
17 Oct 17 Comment What a fine bunch of workmen. well composed and taken. The choice of mono for the picture is perfect with the subject.Good to see the priority is getting the kettle on the boil for a cup of tea. Oct 17th
17 Oct 17 Comment These little bugs do add to a picture as well as a bit of life they can give scale, and an additional point of interest. The discoloured petals are fine, all too often we are tempted to ignore the less than perfect.I tend to agree with Joe over the slightly soft petal at the front. Oct 17th
17 Oct 17 Comment This one fits in well with your industrial pictures of late.
I like the composition and the treatment enhances the feel of the scene. It is simple in content and colour pallette, but it works well.

19 Oct 17 Comment I like the mono image you have presented. I think it works due to the lack of detail and the conversion to mono. The fact that you have also reversed the image also helps. Well done. Oct 17th
19 Oct 17 Comment What a wonderful portrait of this man. Your timing has caught him just right. I like the fact that the background is soft allowing him to stand out. Also the use of monochrome makes the picture more journalistic. Stan's comments on white objects are interesting. Oct 17th
19 Oct 17 Comment Great composition and I like the title. A touch of humour is a good thing. The exposure is well handled to keep detail in those white feathers. Oct 17th
19 Oct 17 Comment a well composed butterfly on its food plant. I see Herbs point about the antennae. Also that large black blob seems a bit of a distraction. Oct 17th
19 Oct 17 Comment This is quite dramatic and a wonderful interpretation of the architecture in the building. This definitely needed to be in colour to record the subtle colours of the ceiling. If I were to suggest a slight crop from the bottom to the top of the fourth column, I think it might help. Oct 17th
19 Oct 17 Comment Wow. What a wonderful cathedral. You have certainly done the building justice with your picture. The colour is most eyecatching. I like the way you have centred your composure.I also appreciate the effort needed to get the exposure. Oct 17th
