17 Aug 17 Comment Mono is definitely the way to go with this scene. The branch coming in on the right is a bit of a disturbance, but overall it works well and gives the feeling that you tried to convey. Aug 15th
17 Aug 17 Comment Timing is important. With this picture,(I do not like the term 'image')you have taken it at the right time of year. Not only do we have some snow in the foreground and distance, we have the bare trees of winter. This not only allows us to see the scene beyond, it adds a graphic touch to the picture following on from the fence against the snow.Does that make sense. Aug 15th
17 Aug 17 Comment I like the peacefulness of this scene, I like the reflection and the stance of the bird.I think all the space around the well positioned subject adds creates that feeling. Aug 15th
17 Aug 17 Comment Firstly to add to Dicks comment, I have pinned to the wall in my 'den' a railway ticket. It says 'Third Class - Senior Citizen', I know my place. Back to the picture, I think it is well seen and the inclusion of the signs is thought provoking. Also one is left to contemplate the expression on the boys face. Aug 15th

17 Aug 17 Comment I sort of disagree about the pipe on the left, something is needed in that area to break up the black. I like the shapes and textures, it is another well executed industrial still life.I have enjoyed the whole series. Aug 15th

19 Aug 17 Comment Well seen. To pick out the final image from that original is well observed . I feel that the use of the effect filter has helped to create a more interesting and 'impressionistic' picture. Aug 15th

19 Aug 17 Comment I like the 's' bend and the feeling that Bob mentions of 3d.I will have to check out your mono version, as I feel that despite the colours in the rock, it might suit the subject.You mention lightening areas, I think maybe that has given us detail but lost a bit of punch. I was not there and have not seen the original so I could be wrong. Aug 15th
