All the elements for a good picture well combined. I like the fact that you have chosen monochrome for a moody evening image.Well done. |

The mistiness adds a little atmosphere, I like the spinning wheel. I agree with Joe about the dominant fence. I like your version, but I also like Joes rendition of the same scene. Both have qualities and differences. |

An interesting and different sculpture in that you have a scene.I am not sure what I can say about photographically, other than it is technically good. |

The 'movement' in the clouds is an interesting effect. I also like the fact that the sky and distant mountains appear mono compared to the colours of the foreground. I can see the comparison others have made to Lake Louise. |

I too have enjoyed your 'industrial series'. I like the simplicity and the fact that it takes a keen eye to spot the compositions in the first place. Add to that a bit of skill and care in the execution of the image and you have a great result. You may have called it 'disconnected' but it connects with the others. |

A well seen abstract of shapes, then converted to mono to make it even better. I can see why it works in different orientations. Well done. |

I like this well caught action. As others have said a little adjustment to the exposure could be beneficial. I love all that dust adding a bit of drama. |

Your viewpoint adds to the drama, I like the inclusion of the distant dwellings, they add scale. I like the concentration of the climber, I did not notice the feet until they were pointed out. |

I like the use of the reflections in the water to create the background, the first impression is that you are low down looking up. The lighting has not been too friendly with the main bloom, but it is well positioned in the frame. Monets Garden is a place I would very much like to visit, and I understand that you have to work with the light you get. |

Another great monochrome Stan. I like the use of selective focus. The background holds enough detail to tell us what it is. The statue is nice and sharp and with good contrast. I also like the angle of view. I think mono was the best choice for the subject. |
