17 Apr 17 Comment The result is worth your lying on the floor to take this picture. Lots of light and colour for the eye to wander over. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment The colour leaps off the screen, the slight softness suits the subject. As Joe says the eye travel around the petals just looking. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment A superb shot of the birds working on the nest. The lighting is very nice and all the details are nice and crisp. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment One has to smile at this one. A nice portrait of the character.I will agree that the right hand background is a touch on the bright side, but I do not find it to detracting. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment I like the lighting with the hazy distance as the storm approaches and the clear foreground. The composition with the horse works well. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment A well converted image. Mono suits the subject, which is simple. I would personally liked to have seen a little more of the gauge at the bottom, a minor quibble really. Apr 14th
17 Apr 17 Comment Thank you all for your comments on this one. I took a number of images but it was the positions of the people that made me pick this one. Apr 14th

19 Apr 17 Comment Do not ask me why but I prefer the left hand image out of the two. Maybe it is the shadows that Norm mentions that are more prominent on the right image. Its more likely the expression on her face that clinches it. Apr 14th
19 Apr 17 Comment I like the action that you have 'caught' with this image. The expression on his face says it all. I see what Herb says about the yellow line at the top, particularly when compared to the next frame Apr 14th
19 Apr 17 Comment An iconic scene, that suits conversion to monochrome. I tend to agree with Herb on a crop from the bottom. I like the contrast between the soldiers and the man. Apr 14th
19 Apr 17 Comment A simple composition and an interesting moment as the bird adjusts those feathers. I like it. Apr 14th
19 Apr 17 Comment A well caught moment. I like the composition particularly the wires at the bottom they hold the image in. Apr 14th
