17 Feb 17 Comment I think your choice of mono is a good one , it simplifies the scene, removing what could be distracting and dominant colours. I like the composition and the sharpness. Well done. Feb 11th
17 Feb 17 Comment What a beautiful temple. The early morning light has given the building a lovely glow. Your scene is helped by the lack of foliage on the trees, immediately in front of the temple. Feb 11th
17 Feb 17 Comment A well caught moment with the cranes taking flight. I like the fact that the wing positions are so different to each other, almost like to frame grabs from a video. The birds are nice and sharp with plenty of detail in the light areas. Feb 11th
17 Feb 17 Comment Considering the conditions you have produced an interesting composition. The use of the gnarled tree as a tool to frame the scene is well done. Feb 11th
17 Feb 17 Comment I like the idea of this. It works a treat to give the illusion of a picture on a wall. I like the way you have offset the window, and shown the detail inside. Well seen and taken. Feb 11th
17 Feb 17 Comment This portrait looks great in monochrome, it suits the mood set by the pose and attire. One point I was always told with portraits was to avoid the pupils being in the corners of the eye. Otherwise I like what you have produced, given the set up presented to you. Feb 11th

19 Feb 17 Comment I can understand your reasoning on taking this picture. Conditions suit what you were after but also leave us with flattish light on the rock faces. The car looks so vulnerable up there in the sky. Compositionaly maybe it would look better if the car was over the gap, just a thought. Feb 11th
19 Feb 17 Comment The moment is just right I like the feel that we are about to descend into cloud as the opposite car emerges. Then for good measure you have got the panorama of Rio below. A well judged moment to hit the shutter button. Feb 11th
19 Feb 17 Comment It is certainly a different angle on Half Dome than the pictures that I have seen before.I like the idea of using foreground trees to frame the subject, on this occasion circumstances have also included a large area of sky.I also feel that the mountains are a little light in tone possibly a consequence of the light at the time.
