Hi Erik. Yes I remember well our visit to Arizona and the subsequent photo tour we enjoyed afterwards. Maybe I should dig out some of my shots from that visit! |

Ian, you chose well when finding a place to retire to! This is delightful and well composed. I wondered if you could just gently lighten the area of the people to pull the eye in a little more. Nice one anyway! |

This is a great place for photography. Paula and I visited this area when we attended a previous PSA Conference in Portland OR some years ago. You found a very good vantage point for this view, to illustrate the super patterns in the sand. Very sharp and well composed. Would I crop? I think it is personal preference. |

Well, I have been to Paris many times but I have never come across this! Well done Vella, for finding this and then for finding a creative view for a photograph. I like the composition as it is. You PP work has improved the colours and given us details in the sky above the dome. |

Great shot Bill. I like the symmetry, and I think Gary's slight crop has added the final touch. Great detail and sharpness from front to back. I agree with Erik's comment that you should consider making a book of your church images from Detroit. |

Good shot Isaac, and very detailed. By shooting straight on to the tank you have avoided any distortion from refraction in the water. Excellent sharpness and lack of 'grain' considering the high ISO. |

Nice one, Gary. I do enjoy modern architecture like this and I believe you have done it justice. I wish I could have been there. The tilt on the structure creates a good dynamic feel and the addition of the moon puts interest into the otherwise plain sky. You have to be very careful adding the moon into a picture because you have to remember that the moon is illuminated by the sun so you must make it believable (if the sun is obviously behind you, the moon MUST be a full moon!) Here, there is no clear indication of where the sun might be, so you get away with it nicely. |
