A very interesting technique to show everything from the floor in the foreground, all the way to the roof immediately above or even behind you. It does take a moment or two to work out what is going on because although we are happy with horizontal panoramas simply by turning our heads, we are not used to vertical ones. You have produced a sharp and detailed record of the internal architecture of this beautiful church. I had not noticed the slight offset that Isaac spotted. I would either crop or clone out that distracting PS Express box. |

Gary, I take your point, but as it is such an easily recognised building I prefer it the correct way round. Thanks for your comment, but I thought Isaac was Dr Flip! |

Ian, a splendid image of this dancer caught at the peak of the action, and very sharp too. You caught her in mid swirl with the clothing swinging out brilliantly. I wondered if the blue background was just a bit too dark. I took it into ON1 RAW and just hit the Briliance button which usually does a nice job bringing out the details and lifting shadows. What do you think?
Congratulations on having your work used by the World Museum for their publicity. |

Erik, that is a superb location and you got an excellent composition from it. I remember Tom from our visit there a long time ago. I am very sorry to learn that he has passed away.
I do like you composition and the view of the distant sandstone features. I wondered if they needed to be a bit stronger so I took it into ON1 RAW and gave them a bit more colour. I also lightened up the surrounding rock to bring out more detail, and added a vignette keep the eye on the middle of the image. What do you think? |

Vella, that is some very nice PP to get this picture from the original dark image. I think I prefer your crop over Isaac's because yours gives a bit more space for the bird. However, he was right to remove the the dangling thing because it is not hanging vertically. I can't comment on the colour of the breast feathers. Good sharp shot. |

A very strong image, Isaac, with the leading lines taking the viewer straight into the picture. The colourful buildings and waiting crowd in the background complete the picture. It is also an image which asks a question - why are the lines at the RHS shorter than the others, leaving a blank area of road? Great idea for a strong image. It should do well in your competition. |

God sharp image of the teal, Gary, and you have the advantage of the early morning calm on the water to avoid distracting ripples. I don't know enough about these birds to comment on the colour, but the blue in the water looks like a perfect reflection on a clear blue sky. I agree with Isaac about the bird going away from you, but it is still a very good picture of this bird - simple, sharp and clean with no distractions. |
