I wonder how long it will be before AI enables us to move the tree to be clear of the building and nobody will know???? |

Thanks Ian. I agree with you about the quality of early morning light - if only I didn't have to get up so early! |

Thanks Vella. I think I would put back problems as worse than computer problems. You can buy a new computer.....! |

Ian, don't apologise for showing us such a bright smile in a dark and dull December. As usual, you have got your model into a bright and attractive pose, although I think I would agree with Gary's suggested modifications. I am definitely not a people photographer so I can't make any additional comments on posing. Colours are vibrant and the gently out of focus green background works very well. |

I am happy with the merge once I had worked out what was happening. Sharp and crisp with perfect exposure, it does tell a story of the two sheep deciding what to do next. There is good detail in the snow which is always difficult to achieve in strong sunlight. |

This is an interesting example of finding two different pictures from the same image. Isaac's version brings out the strength of the heavy clouds and is full of drama. Gary's version has a lighter and more delicate feel, bringing out the detail in the foreground water and the mid-ground hillsides. Two very different pictures which, according to PSA competition rules, must have the same title since they are from the same exposure!
I don't have any further comment to add. |

Nice one Bill! What a good job the lights were already on the tree. It would have taken forever to put those on in PS.
I send my best wishes for Christmas and New Year to you and your family, and indeed to all my friends in Group 04. |

Isaac, that is a very sharp and detailed image of this street painter at work, and a very unusual view too. Without the painter, this would simply be a record (a very good one) of someone else's art. With the inclusion of the man doing his painting, this becomes a documentary record of what was happening here at the time. He appears to have painted some sort of fish, but I don't know what. The intricate tail makes me think of wrought iron trellis work. Could this be a Trellis Fish? :-)

Gary, that was quite a lot of planning and testing before taking the final shots and some impressive post work to get what you wanted. It has certainly worked out well and you have an impressive image as a result. |
