I have just noticed that the title of my picture is given as "Missed Temple." It should be "Mussenden Temple." |

Hi Gary. You are right. However I needed to be close to the wall to get the view of the houses below the cliff, which meant that I could not get the wall leading from the corner. I guess that a wider angle might have got the wall into the corner but that would have given too much sea on the right. Enjoy Tuscon. Wish I could be there. |

Interesting thought, Erik. I think it is as powerful as a mono as it is in colour, but in a slightly different way that I cannot put my finger on. |

Hi Erik and Vella. I can easily lighten the shadow side of the building, but I as the sun was shining strongly I thought it was better as it is. I could take another look and maybe increase the contrast on the whole building. Thanks for your comments. |

Ian, from the quality of your work, you clearly enjoy doing this sort of thing. This is another excellent portrait from you. It is sharp and well lit with no strong highlights or shadows, but still with good modelling light. The fill-flash is undetectable. Good choice of background too. |

Erik, this is so simple and so strong that it gets my gold medal! The diagonal trail and the bird coming towards you, together with the sharp reflection, create the perfect composition with absolutely nothing else to distract. This has got to go in an international exhibition. Good luck my friend! |

Vella, what a super shot! Very sharp and the shutter speed has frozen the wing movement nicely so that we can see the detail. Good choice of aperture to put the background out of focus. You have caught the moment well with the proboscis in the flower. |

Great street photography and I guess there must be many good shots to be had in that location. The child's expression speaks volumes about the location and the poverty. I cannot think of anything else to add to Gary's comments. |

Gary, this is a very powerful and striking image. The rockets are all pointing skywards and the starburst lights suggest the stars. Good sharpness throught. I think the message would be stronger if you were to take out the red light and the faint roof structure. This would give the impression of the rockets all pointed at the night sky. |

Peter, I really like this shot. It reminds me of a similar street in the city of York in England, which is also cobbled and for people only. I have done some night street photography and prefer the brightness in your version. |
