Gary, I just tried dynamic contrast and it just gives that extra pop. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Thanks Gary. I'll take a look at selective dynamic contrast. |

Bill, I hve Topaz DeNoise AI but not Photo AI. Normally I use ON1 RAW which has very good NoNoise AI and Sharpen AI functions. |

Thanks Isaac. I didn't think about adding texture. |

That is some mean machine! You have caught the action really well and everything is sharp, including the cloud of spray. As Isaac says, the presence of the second boat shows that this is a race and that seems to add to the tension in the picture. On the performance side, 0-60 mph in under 4 sec is better than a lot of cars. Also, if you hit a big wave at 120 mph, it would be like hitting a lump of concrete! |

Erik, thanks for a super nature shot. Lighting is good, background nicely subdued and the birds are sharp. I am fascinated by how 'spiky' the chicks look! I agree with Isaac on cropping out the bright green foreground leaves and branch. |

Vella, this is an image that makes you look twice to find the extra zebra. Nice composition and cropping. The b/w treatment makes it more graphic than it would be in colour and so adds to the impact. Gary's suggestion to remove the grasses is good, though I feel that "...a little patience..." is a massive understatement! Anyway, you have done a great job in following his advice. |

I love it! This is so incongruous that it has to be photographed. I could imagine this in Cuba as it is about the right height for a horse to drink from, but in Detroit...? It is an image that has to shown in Black and white and you have done a great job here Bill. I think the composition has been well thought out too, with the inclusion of part of the lattice grille across the doorway to set the scene. |

Well I certainly would not pick a fight with either of these two men! You have caught the action with the sweat flying and you can sense the power behind the punches from the obvious tension in the muscles. Lighting is good and the two boxers are pin sharp. It is unfortunate that the out of focus arm on the right (referee?) looks like it is trying to restrain the boxer on the right. Also, can you darken the bright blue and yellow sign at the top without violating the rules for PJ? |

Nice shot, Gary. It shows a big class and after a little study it is amusing to see how some have right leg back while others are left leg back. Also, some have the back leg straight while others have the knee on the floor. All but two have raised their right hands with the ball. Regarding cropping, I much prefer the original uncropped version. |
