Ian, the previous church is on Romney Marsh in Kent. This one is only a few miles from Portsmouth in Hampshire. I've got another one taken in the Lake District. Maybe I'll show that one sometime. |

I agree, the little bridge does not link up with the path. I really don't know why! However, it was useful as a lead-in. |

I guessed the man on the right was the owner as he has a helmet with him. The helmet on the scooter will be for the passenger. I remember the Lambretta and also the Vespa. Many years ago when I was a student, I had a girlfriend who had a Vespa. I had a normal motorbike but when I tried out the Vespa it scared the living daylights out of me as it felt so unstable compared to the motorbike! |

Wow! The colour jumps out at you and then after a double take you realise what you are looking at. I have never seen anything like this before so this puts New Brighton ahead of New York! Good choice of low viewpoint and I sympathise about the creaking knees. They do say you have to suffer for your art! The crop is just right and the colour of the scooter is so vibrant that it leaves no doubt about the subject of the photo. Great street photography. |

Gary, I'm not sure if I uploaded the file with the vignette or the original, but I guess you follow my line of thinking. |

It is great when you get perfect conditions for reflections and it looks like you got a good example here. The reflection is really nice and I don't have a problem with the composition. My concern is the lighting which is so nice at the LH side that it pulls my eye away from the reflection. I took it into ON1 and applied the new Brilliance AI adjustment. I then added a slight vignette just to darken the corners. |

Hi Vella, I hope your husband is feeling better now. You both need another vacation to compensate! These two elephants look like they are in their natural environment, and make a very touching image of mother and child relationship. Lighting is just right for this sort of image - bright but not directional. |

A spectacular and unique view of this building! I am surprised you were able to operate a drone in this urban environment. The lighting is excellent with that lovely yellow light of the setting sun, nicely set against the unblemished bue sky with only a small amount of haze on the horizon. As an aside, I wonder why a railroad station needed so many floors of office space? |

Nicely caught piece of action, Isaac. It's obvious who gets the girl, but is it Romeo or the lone wolf who wins? The blurring does underscore the intensity of the action. There is just enough background to show the location. |

What's this? A challenger for the title of Professor Staircase? Or maybe just a dedicated pupil! Gary, I really like this and I wish I could have been there with you. You have picked a very good viewpoint to show the full set of stairs plus the shape of the hanging central object. You can feel a bit odd lying on your back on the floor, but it was certainly worth it to get this shot. The colour combination of blue and yellow works really well, and my only comment is that it would help to darken the two upper corners which tend to pull the attention away from the central structure. I took it into ON1 and applied a modest vignette. Regarding the other two images, I prefer the composition of your main image to that of 'Original' and I would like to see more contrast in the mono 'Original 2'. |

I should have added Camera was my Lumix G9 with the Leica 12-60 lens at 31 mm. Exposure was 1/640 at f/8 with ISO 200. Edited in ON1 RAW, I cropped to put the path starting at the bottom left, then darkened the sky a little and boosted the overall contrast. |
