Lots of views, Bill. I took a look through a polariser but it didn't seem to make much difference, so I didn't put it on the camera. Maybe I should have used one anyway. |

Call in and see us if you get far enough north. |

Those Montana skies really are an intense blue. It is easy to overdo the polariser and I have done this many times before. I have found that using about half polarisation works best. I love the texture in the woodwork, and putting the wheels in the foreground creates nice composition. |

Good crop, Gary. You have tightened up the composition and brought the birds apparently much closer. |

Good capture of the action here, Erik. The light is wonderful and the colours very vivid. The greenery behind the birds adds to the composition as it provides a feel for the location. The birds are sharp and well exposed. |

A good sharp natural history shot, Isaac. You have caught them coming towards the camera which is good. These things look pretty large and fierce but the fact that you used the 400mm end of the zoom shows you were at a good safe distance and presumably you were behind a fence. |

Great image Gary. I guess the bird was just getting airborne. You caught it at just the right memnt with the toes just trailing in the water. Nice colours in the water too. |

Well done Isaac. The result is seamless. I must try harder! As for the crop, I took over 20 pictures of this building so I may show some more later. |
