Hi Gary. Thanks for the crop suggestion. I didn't think of that composition at all. I like the suggested title too! |

Ian, well done for exploring some creative thinking, which has certainly paid off. The image has that dream like effect and Naomi's facial expression goes well with that. Removing the necklace was done nicely and has improved the image. Congratulations on the HM. I think you should speak to Naomi again to see if she will agree to another photo session. She makes a good model. |

Erik, what a superb action shot. Sharpness and exposure are excellent and you have caught them with good visual separation - not easy with fast moving action. I admire your ability to use a big canon and 100-400 lens hand held and get such results. |

Vella, I like the composition exactly as it is. The mountains rise to a peak at about one third into the image, and then trail off gently downwards to the right, providing a nice gentle flow of the eye through the picture. The boat at the left provides a good point for the eye to pause for a moment as the image is read from left to right. My only suggestion would be to clone out the branches at the top left as they take the eye off the main subject. |

Good use of reflections Bill, and I like the contrast between the gentle shape of the carousel and the hard rectangular shapes of the skyscrapers. I like the full space at the bottom, but I would have liked to have seen the rest of the carousel to the left. Maybe you had a good reason for leaving it out. I had to look twice to spot Ian's contrail, but I agree with him that it would be good to remove it. |

Nice piece of work, Isaac, and interesting to see the heritage of the indigenous Americans preserved in long lasting granite. Composition is good with the unfinished sculpture in the mountain located nicely in the background. It's a pity the sun was so strong, but the HDR work has enabled you to pull out the shadow detail without losing the highlights. Good to see the three amigos looking well. |

Gary, I like your approach to this subject with choice of lens and shooting position. Cclours are better with Isaac's adjustment, but it was propbably the HDR process that made them too strong. This location has potential for more pictures - those stairs are great! |
