Joe, it would have to be someone quite young. Most adults would take one look and say, "You can NOT be serious!" |

If I was that high off the ground I'd want a parachute! This image is an excellent example of catching the action at just the right moment. Focus is just right and shutter speed well chosen, and you hit the button at exactly the right moment. The overall colour combination of green and orange and blue is very satisfying. |

Erik, this is a very peaceful image and a great story to go with it. The path leads the eye straight to the two figures and they are well framed by the trees. The attractive dappled sunlight adds to the restful feel of the image without creating contrast problems. |

Superb scenery and a well chosen composition. The crop works well to bring the attention on to that sheer cliff face. It is very sharp and the clouds provide an excellent backdrop. I did think the greens were a bit too strong, but Isaac's removal of the blue cast has made the greens much better too. |

Great action shot and a triumph for minimalism! You really don't need anything else to create the tension and the thrill of the occasion. I admire your ability to hold a big Nikon with a 500 mm lens and get a well focussed and well framed action shot of a rapidly moving subject. |

Great colours and a nice little scene showing a little bit of housework. We have gypsies who come round with travelling fairs and my observation is that they are very houseproud, keeping their caravans (mobile homes) very clean and tidy. Image is sharp and well composed, with the action well caught. |

Thanks for your comments Isaac. The background is not grass. It is a moorland fern we call bracken. It grows on a long stem with the fern leaves spreading out quite flat at the top. It can reach waist height, and occasionally chest height. You can see it among the trees in the attached image, taken on the same day. |
