Thanks Bill. I didn't see a bell so I thought it must have another purpose. |

This is a very good shot of an interesting little church. The light is good and the sky is also good. It is also very sharp. Does anyone know what the small square balcony on the roof was used for? |

Joe, I think we have all had our wings clipped by this virus. We were due to go to Santorini in May but that was cancelled. |

Ian, nice grab shot of this majestic bird. The head does blend into the dark background, but you could try one of my favourite tricks. Try the Shadows/Highlights adustment in Photoshop. Leave it on the default setting (Shads 35/Hlts 0) and then put back some conrast with a Curves adjustment layer. I believe black swans are native to New Zealand and parts od Australia. We have a Black Swan pub near where I live, known locally as The Mucky Duck! |

Hi Vella. Yes very much so. I have a black and white version which is very graphic. Not with Isaac's surgery though! |

Well done Erik for getting out to take this picture. I have never photographed the Milky Way so this one might give me a push to go out and try sometime. The Milky Way stands out nicely and that little patch of cloud to the left of it adds some additional interest. The light on the beach from the overhead lightning fills in the foreground. |

Those teeth look very scary. Even if it is smaller than an alligator, I wouldn't want to be too close! Good sharp image which is particularly impressive considering you were sitting in a boat at the time. Lovely colours in the water in the evening light. |

An interesting study in evolution and an interesting visual comment on it too. The evolved transport of the modern vehicle of many horsepower has died, but the old form in the shape of a horse still lives on! Could you perhaps add a bit more contrast to make the horse stand out more? It might also have more impact in black & white. |

This is what I call 'Creative Seeing'. I think this is a super piece of work. Very much a tantalising abstract - tantalising because we almost see reality there but are not quite sure. Thanks for the explanation and the original shot. |

Thanks for your comments Isaac. I wanted the lamp post to line up with the corner of the building and could not find any position that would separate all the lamps. |
