You are just trying to confuse me!!! By itself, it works just as well, but now I have two versions to look at I can't decide which I prefer! |

Welcome to our group, Thomas. I hope you enjoy it. You have started with an excellent image which has been well thought out and well done. I wish I had your imagination. Your English is excellent and very much better than my ability to communicate in German! |

The bird is very sharp and you have caught it very nicely in its task of re-arranging the nest. Personally, I think Isaac's crop is too severe. I would just crop oy the dark out of focus blob in the top left corner. I'm easy about the flip, one way or the other. |

This is a well caught pice of action. Although I have never watched motorboat racing, I imagine you don't get much time to sort composition and press the shutter. The man leaning into the turn and the outward flying spray combine to give a clear impression of speed. The boat behind shows just how close this racing can be. |

Joe, the North Sea is always cold, but it was quite a nice day although not up to Californian temperatures! |

A quite remarkable and beautiful image! The shapes and lines are worth a good long look to appreciate the scene. It is interesting that there is no sense of scale. |

This is an interesting treatment which creates a very threatening atmosphere. Clearly, from the strong sun, it is a very bright day and it would be only too easy to lighten up the shadows to show lots of detail. That would be photographically satisfying to the documentary school, but the very dark and sombre treatment here creates a very appropriate mood. Placing the sun just above the post seems to highlight the fact that freedom lies beyond the post and the wires, but is unattainable. |

What a wonderful bit of seeing! One thing that I appreciate about photography is that it teaches you to see. Many people look at things and scenes but they don't really see. This is a super example of seeing a small detail and realising the potential for a great image. Well done Joe. I wouldn't change anything. |
