4 May 24 Reply Thanks for your kind words Ian, the image is a little soft as it was made at 7:15, with barely enough light to shoot. After reading Isaacs critique, I added some Texture and that appeared to sharpen the subjects a bit. I captured many feeding and general movement images, as they as they wanted max energy before attempting the love thing. Please send me your other e-mail address so we can better communicate. I have sent you some interesting reading that doesn't get through to you, thanks.

4 May 24 Comment Ian, to my eye, you have framed this scape perfectly. The colors speak to the cold, windy day. I believe your 10-stop grad filter created a more interesting image. I wouldn't be without one in my bag. May 18th
4 May 24 Comment Zion has a lot to offer photogs and you took advantage by finding this strong vantage point. Your PP was the racers edge.
I agree with the others on the left side crop. looking forward to seeing more of your landscapes.

4 May 24 Comment The bright colors project strong impact, all is sharp that needs to be and the position you chose, put all your subjects in the viewing perspective. May 18th
4 May 24 Comment Another strong Mono conversion Bill, sharp, perfect Rule of Thirds presentation, complimented by a powerful sky. Lightening some of the sand was a nice touch. May 17th
4 May 24 Comment Sharp image, proper colors, showing great depth of field offering a lazy Winter sky as well. The canted trees, due to wide angle lens didn't bother me as the strength of the deep depth of field guided my eyes right to the background. May 17th
4 May 24 Comment Mono was a good choice, your image is very sharp, good depth of field and proper vertical lines. As some of our members stated, crop the foreground. I have fortunate to have made images on many occasions as there are so many images to be made. Our Club has had 2 outings there and in season, the bird photography, in season, can be very good.

4 May 24 Reply Please see my comments to Isaac. May 8th
4 May 24 Reply The reason you can't see detail when enlarged is this image was made at 7:15 A.M. Barley enough light to shoot. May 8th
