4 Jan 24 Comment after studying Bethanie's facial expression, I was drawn to her piercing eyes and soft, well-proportioned mouth and these attributes created stronger viewer Impact. as the others stated, sharp, good color and offers a dark non-de background that enhances the portrait. My eyes didn't pay attention to the partial left hand. That said, Isaacs crop enhanced your offering. Keep up the good work my friend. Jan 10th
4 Jan 24 Comment Another good Nature story Vella, adding light to the image, allows the viewer to see more feather definition and brightens the eye as well. My 23-year exposure to international competition, in most cases, dictates using your subjects head, facing left. As Garyn stated, few folks wouldn't delight moving their head from left to right in order to see a rear end. That said, entering competitions in country's that read right to left, Isaacs flip might garner a stronger opportunity of an acceptance. Jan 10th
4 Jan 24 Comment A pleasing scape Guy, restful to the eye. Although the structure left of the church isn't obtrusive, I would have cropped it out to be left with the leading line, restful sky and Gods house. Jan 10th
4 Jan 24 Comment This image offers Beautiful bright colors, good attention paid to vertical and horizontal lines and proper depth of field. I know that you are pleased, being able to enjoy your new World of color and sharpness. Jan 10th
4 Jan 24 Comment Well executed Isaac, strong tecknicals, perfect soft morning light and spot on Composition that screams sense of place. As Buchanan might say, you couldn't create a better image with your "Big Boy" camera. Jan 10th
4 Jan 24 Comment It is said that in life, timing is everything. Mt Rainer is usually covered by low clouds. I side with Isaacs critique and sky crop. That said, my interpitation provides a little more foreground water. I opened up the shadows slider a bit to lighten the foreground. Jan 7th
