Thanks for your best wishes Ian, this is the first time that I have been unable to peform many of my daily tasks and it's humbling. Best to you and your family. |

Mr. Buchanan, you always provide an in-depth analysis whenever possible. Your photographic and PP knowledge has always been a help to others that want to climb up to the next rung on the learning ladder of this marvelous avocation. Congrats on attaining 50 years of PSA membership. |

Ian, you have granted me another first at the age of 84, a one- word critique, bravo my friend. I am having R knee, full replacement on July 20th. Hopefully it won't keep me down for more than 8 weeks. Thanks for your concern my friend. |

Hi Vella, you have posted a thought provoking portrait this month. The image is sharp and as the facial expression creates many questions. Sorry this was so late, I thought my thoughts were sent a week ago. |

Guy, I'm pleased that you are feeling better and able to make some new images. This one is well balanced and boasts a beautiful back-lit flower. Dr Flip strengthened your entry, as the U.S. and a few other Country's read from left to right. Isaac's flip allowed the stem to become a strong leading line, taking the viewers eye right to the main subject. The lower brightness enhanced the flowers texture. |

Well done Isaac, strong technicals, good color and tack sharp. The palm shadow works well as a leading line that takes the viewers eye to the mid-ground subjects and the rear tree acts as a second leading line that leads to the ship. To me, it is a more complicated imagethen most however it works.

I don't participate in Street Photography either but agree with Isaac and Guy on your vantage point. If she uncrossed her legs and kept her hands in proper position, the foreground could be cropped at her waist. Cleaning up the brick but leaving the writing greets the viewer with a cleaned up sense of her surroundings. |

Ian, I agree with Isaac and Guy on their positive comments of your timely image. If you can locate viable contacts in Ukraine, email the image and a note depicting the circumstances of how and why your image was made. If a viable contact could get your image and note in front of their brave solders, it would be a positive note that we care and support your cause. It could prove to be a very positive morale booster. |

An interesting image Bill, the chairs are canted like the buildings and the sidewalk provides the leading line that aids the viewer to reach the background and the buildings. The red chair offers Impact and the PP cleaning job was a nice finishing touch. My only suggestion would be to re-visit the strength of the Vinette. to my eye it's a little too pronounced. |
