In photography, it is so important to step out of your comfort zone and participate in a new in a new to you, photo experience. Your timing created a believable portrait of Scrooge offering good color and sharpness.
The soft hands show movement and doesn't bother me. |

Vella, I'm pleased that the surgery should provide better mobility and less pain in your life. I agree with our cadre of members that the background, foreground crop would strengthen the image and less sky so viewers would pay more attention to the main subjects. A fast recovery might prevent dust from settling on your photo equipment. |

Guy, thanks for the interesting historical text. It appears that this image was made from the best possible location. I, like the others, enjoy the building form and texture. Merry Christmas to you, Paula, Study Group and their families. May we all experience a more peaceful 2023. |

A great nature image Isaac, good color and placement of the subjects. The expression on the bird's face says it all. It appears that some bird's necks appeared to be a little hot so took the image into Camera Raw, moved the white slider to -85 and that appeared to help. |

Gary, I think your composition is perfect. Guy, Ian and I are on the same page on brightening the rock faces. In my opinion, having Guys input made it the best it could be. |
