4 Feb 22 Reply Thank you Ian, I get such a pleasure watching all wildlife do what they do each day to survive. In many cases they do a better job than many humans. Feb 21st
4 Feb 22 Reply Thanks for a superb critique my friend. Feb 21st
4 Feb 22 Reply Thanks for your positive comments, Vella. Feb 21st
4 Feb 22 Reply Thanks for the suggestion, Gary, I shall give it a try on some other birds when needed. My screen shows full detail on this image. Feb 21st
4 Feb 22 Reply Thanks for your kind remarks, Bev. Feb 21st
4 Feb 22 Comment Ian, you have produced another fine image. Good color and well balanced and the lite up house creates good depth and provides more strength to the canal as a leading line. My only suggestion would be to dampen the light coming through the trees. Feb 20th
4 Feb 22 Comment This is a new spices for me as well. Subjects are sharp offering natural color. Being close together, these 4 birds create tension, and that tension offers the viewer Impact. Including the 5th bird breaks some of the tension. As for the Vinyette, I would lighten it a tad. Good catch Vella. Feb 20th
4 Feb 22 Comment I respect the fact that you perhaps jumped out of your comfort zone to make this image. The 2 second exposure provided some ere ghosts. I agree with Vella on a slight crop of the background and in addition, the steps are canted to the left. You might try to rase that left side to parallel before the crop. Feb 20th
4 Feb 22 Comment With the crop you have created strong depth that borders on appearing 3 dimensional. The colors are pleasing and your image screams Serenity. Feb 17th
4 Feb 22 Comment An interesting Travel or P.J. story Isaac. Your landscape crop and adding canvas to include the balance of the man's arm strengthened the image. Your original background didn't bother me as it was soft and showed the business and living quarters as a miner interest. Feb 17th
4 Feb 22 Comment Your diagonal leading lines force the viewer to view the entire image. Good reflections and sky. I agree with Sharon, a darker sky creates to much contrast. Your Composition Trio of SELECTION, BALANCE and PLACEEMENT was well executed. Feb 17th
