4 Aug 21 Reply I just looked at another image of those birds and the beaks are bright red. The orange hue must have crept in due to my shot angle. Aug 28th
4 Aug 21 Reply I entered this image late at night, just before leaving for our road trip and may have forgotten the vignette, thanks for the reminder Guy Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment I like you Ian enjoy being alone at 0 DARK THIRTY relaxing and waiting to see what the new day will bring. Your image is sharp and offers good morning light. Like Bill, I use the auto setting in Camera Raw. As Bill stated, that one click strengthened your image by softening the light on the bow. I have found that setting works about 70% of the time. It makes some miniscule changes that many of us might not catch. Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment Your crop works for me Vella. The water flow works perfectly for my taste. To dampen the water hot spot Re: Guys critique. click on Camera Raw then move the white slider to the left and that should solve the problem. Bill's critique provided a stronger image as well. Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment An interesting image to be sure. The boardwalk and it's shadow create a strong leading line. This IR image has presented a very unusual sky color and formation, good use of thirds offering correct technicals. Working outside the box can provide new photo skills that will keep our minds moving forward at our time in life. With the perception of a cold snowy day, I was waiting for the gal with no hat to start coughing. Ha Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment Churches are of interest to me as well. As you know, Jim Mahoney and I have been shooting the ex and interior of these houses of God for the past 7 years and shared our presentations with a few local Camera clubs as well. Providing our best CD images to the churches and Synagogue's has created new friendships and lasting P.R. You have epitomized "If you don't succeed, try and try again". With your your keen knowledge of P.S. and the many plug ins you work with and the keen eyes of our Study Group Members, your masterpiece is now complete. Just a plug, I think we of S.G.04 have one of the strongest groups in Barbara Millers creation. Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment I like all the action images as well. In this case I don't think this image needed a larger canvas as your 500 mm lens captured the up close and personal cascade of movement of the event and completed tack sharp as well. Well done my friend. Aug 26th
4 Aug 21 Comment You captured a special story in a moment of time. To finish the image, I put it in Camera Raw 3 times and moved the white slider all the way to the left twice then half way the third time to soften the whites then removed the bumps that Trey mentioned. Aug 26th
