In my opinion, the shoreline and reflections offer tranquility and add to the image. |

It would submitted as is as. The beautiful light in the foreground should compliment the early foggy morning background. As Ian suggested, the shoreline "adds distance and scale" |

The un-cropped image has plenty of open space and "solitude" is very appropriate for this image. |

I too am pleased that you finally have some time for family time and your passion. I appreciate the unique subject with the soft background and the stroke that contained your image. |

A stately Chapel offering a strong leading line. The sheep provide life and additional interest. |

Experimentation offers all of us the chance to learn and grow photographically. Your accurate off hand lens turn added mystery to the canvas, thanks for sharing. |

A strong composition Bill, it is tack sharp and offers an interesting look into it's architectural past. To me, a blue sky would strengthen your image. The 7D conversion added one more arrow to your quiver that allows you to keep learning and having fun.

your subject was properly placed giving it enough space to move forward, through the image. Good color and offering sharpness, where needed. My only concern is the torn up mid-ground and blown out gravel or what ever it is. They both are distractions for me. |

Certainly a lot of work was accomplished between your original and the final P P image. Your shudder was pushed at a good vantage point and in my opinion, you created a well balanced image. The other member suggestions produced a stronger finished canvas. When I lived in N.Y. Watkins Glen and surrounding area was one of my favorite photo destinations. |
