You have produced a pleasing creative image Guy. The yellow and other bright colors scream impact and the many lines produce strong leading lines. I assume you used a tripod as the subject is placed perfectly within your canvas, kudos. |

Good day to you Guy, I did use Shadows/Highlights, perhaps not enough, good catch. Betty Sue and I are so disappointed that our cruise was cancelled as we were looking forward to spending time with you Paula, Ian and his wife. Stay well and be safe. |

Thanks for your sharp eye Joe, I agree with you and the others about darkening the background, for some reason I didn't give it a thought at the time. We are so fortunate to have our Study group 4 family that watches our photographic (6) six. |

Where there is a will there is a way. There have been and will be more positive issues during this pandemic and you have found one by learning the names of the flora in your landlady's garden and I am sure you will present us with additional offerings in the near future. That said I agree with the others on the crop, take care my friend. |

This is a stunning watercolor Bill, it has that ethereal look of yesteryear, however I agree with the others, the truck produces balance in your rendering it is a distraction for me as well. |

Welcome to our study group family Vella, your entry displays proper color and the subjects are well placed on your canvas. The birds eyes are so well defined, they drew me in as if they were two strong leading lines and the non-de background strengthens your image as well. I noticed white lines on the birds backs and that hints of over-sharpening. A stronger image with the brown leaf cloned out. Looking forward to viewing more images from you. |

A good creative eye Isaac, your entry offers varied textures and a bright main subject. The light leaves in the upper right tend to pull my eye off the subject and the thin root system catches my eye as well. Joe's crop and flip proves to me, in this case, that less may be more. |

For openers Joe, you created a strong crop, good colors and tack sharp where needed and the color RED helps with impact. The legs offer good leading lines and allow the viewer to survey all of the image. A good choice during the Pandemic, brought a smile to my face. |
