Thanks for your kind words Ian, your mention of brunch demanded an answer. In 2004 I was elected Pres. of Suncoast C. C. of Clearwater Florida. I joined the club in 2000 and noticed that there was very little interaction of the members after the close of the meetings. Most every one appeared to be so busy with their lives. As Pres. I wanted to solve this perceived problem so I started "Presidents Shoots" to be held twice per month. The members were advised that we would share a meal together, either before or after a shoot. As time went on the meals became a huge success. Some folks actually got to know each other, the rest is history. |

A good use of thirds and composition Isaac. The hint of Northern Lights might create a question of the viewer, what would the balance of the light show look like and would there be different colors. I pose the same question as Joe, what is the bright tent reflection. |

There is an aura of mystery on the image you made Ian. It is sharp where needed and the tree provides the viewer a leading line. Isaac cropped out the man. My alternative would be to use the P.S. brush at 100% black then add a new stroke. |

Good capture Guy, quite sharp shooting at 1/15th of a sec. Well balanced and tells an unfortunate story that many that are addicted to cell phones will suffer a huge medical price for as time goes on. |

Strong action shot Thomas, the red wheat suit provides impact and your subject is properly placed in the frame. My only suggestion would be to straighten the horizon as it is canted to the left. I believe the line Joe mentioned may be caused by over sharpening. |

What a beautiful capture Bill. The auto colors create strong impact and the image is tack sharp. The background idea presented would be a boon to good images with busy backgrounds. Quite frankly, the lack of the shadow didn't bother me |

An interesting Bldg. Joe, I went into P.S. hit ctrl A ctrl T then played. My finished product looked a litter better but not good enough to exhibit. Isaac is correct, you were to close to your subject to create effective changes. Other than that, good color and sharp. |
