Like you expressed a short time ago Ian, this is a family that photographically watches each others back. For some reason that light didn't jump out at me. Good eye mate, I cloned it out. Ian and Guy, Betty Sue and I are taking a cruise in late June, 2020. We fly into Heathrow. Betty Sue wants to spend a couple of days seeing some sights before boarding the ship. Would there be a possibility that you and Guy might be able to make it in to the big city for a meal and some good conversation. Perhaps your wives might like to come as well. Looking forward to hearing from both of you. |

Isn't it amazing how dedicated photographers happen to be in the right place at the right time. There many reasons, preserving an event for friends, family, capturing a historical site, buildings before they collapse from disrepair or because the land was purchased and the buyer doesn't give a dam about history. You have a propensity of helping others photographically. many of those folks need your help now and your reward is capturing their needs photographically. My hat is off to you my friend. I love the mood of your entry, the color drew me in and the image is sharp where it needed to be. Buchanan must be rubbing off on me as I had to play. I added canvas to both sides to further straiten the vertical lines. the horse was brightened using the Quick Selection Tool. to finish up I clowned out the soft lower tree branches. It's not perfect but I tried. |

Hi Thomas, your image should project a feeling of serenity to most viewers, it is sharp and shows good color and reflections. I agree with Guy, the tower is slightly canted to the left and so is the right building. I took care of that in P.S. clicking on ctrl A, ctrl T. Curser on the upper right edge and dragged it to the right. That straightened the tower and building. If this were mine, I would crop the top to eliminate most of the bald sky and use the Spot healing Bruch to delete the neon sign and the street light as that was a distraction for me. |

You did a good job with the scene you wanted to work with. The image is sharp and as Isaac stated, the fence provided more interest. In viewing your image my eye kept settling on the hot spot on the left tree trunk. Opened P.S. clicked on Quick Selection Tool hit -to make the tool small, then covered the hot spot with marching ants, hit select then deselect to soften the hot spot. Noticing a square with water reflection on the left edge as a distraction, I cropped the left side then a little off the foreground. Hope this was some help. |

I love the soft colors of your entry. It is tack sharp and it's wind blown tail feathers and position of the head provide an interesting image. I agree with Guy, the original version works. The f2.8 lens is at your disposal any time you visit Florida. |

Your wife's keen scan of the sky may have photographically help pay for her Birthday trip. From my perspective, your entry should create great interest with most viewers. The lightening promotes impact, good use of The Rule of Thirds, sharp exposure and tells a story. Guy's good eye, boosted the light using the Shadows slider. |

Your image is sharp and possess brilliant colors. The bars create strong leading lines and is well balanced. I agree with Guy, would have been nice to see the entire window. Why was the whole window not shown. |
