4 Mar 19 Comment Well done Ian, the reds create impact, the spray denotes speed, complies with the rule of thirds and is sharp. That said you caught strong action as well. P.S. I shoot with the 7D mark 11 and the new 100-400 mm IS 11 lens. In my opinion, that is the best gear for sports and wildlife photography on the market today. With steady hands a 1.4 extender can be added and I find most images are tack sharp hand held. Mar 25th
4 Mar 19 Comment Welcome to our family Thomas. You have just joined one of the strongest Study Groups in PSA. Your entry is quite imaginative, well balanced, sharp and tells an unusual story. Looking forward to seeing more of your work and reading more of your commentary. Mar 25th
4 Mar 19 Comment Your timing was excellent in catching the late afternoon light on your subject. I noticed the magenta as well however some of our members have worked that problem out. The image is sharp and the subject is well placed on your canvas. Mar 25th
4 Mar 19 Comment The placement of your subject creates strong image balance with several leading lines that should guide the viewer into your masterpiece. The ice color appears inviting, perfect and its sharpness adds additional strength. Congrats Bill. Mar 21st
4 Mar 19 Comment I like Guy's story telling ability too, it completely defines your image. My only suggestion would be to add a 2 pix stroke in grey to contain your entry on the canvas. Mar 21st
4 Mar 19 Comment Don't ever part with your creative eye Joe, the Red color screams Impact and the shadow effect gleans interest. The image is well balanced and sharp, well done my friend. Mar 21st
4 Mar 19 Reply Hi Isaac,

I prefer a tighter crop as well however I left more room on both sides to print a 12X18 for Club competition. The print received the highest score of the night, last week. Have been so busy I forgot to crop it before submitting to Study Group 4. Your flip may have created a stronger image, thanks.
