You are welcome any time Ian, we would be more than happy to share our back roads and honey holes with you. Give me some notice before your next trip to the states and we will make it happen. A gentlemen from Tramore, Ireland made a presentation at our photo club last night. We became fast friends and I am taking him on a shoot Friday. By any chance do you or Guy know him? |

This image is sharp where it needs to be. the brighter tree on the right, to me, adds interest. Your finished product is well balanced, flipped or not. The exposure of the water is perfect. |

An interesting abstract shape David. the bright red produces viewer impact and the shape flows nicely. I agree with Guy that a stroke would strengthen your offering. That said, perhaps all of us should step out of our comfort zone and try more photographic experimentation. |

The image is sharp, good color and 3 leading lines to take the viewer through the image. The only lights that distract me are the two right hand blubs on the third floor. The image appears a little busy to me. Perhaps a 3 pixel stroke would help contain your rendering within the canvas. |

That was a perfect shooting day Bill. Your idea to back off and use a telephoto lens, in my opinion, was the right decision. The compression made for a stronger image. This entry is well balanced and all the subjects are picture perfect on your canvas. The two strokes are a nice touch as well. The Avis Sketch works however I would like to see the finished original. |

You will see a part of the dock behind the left house. Based on their location, I was unable to show more of the docks and still needed attention to my main subjects in an artistic manner. They are for sale for $258.900 and that price includes full docks with winches. |

I captured this image several years ago but wasn't able to get as low as you did. The water provides a good leading line and your exposure was spot on to create the falls silky water flow. A picture perfect sky, looking down on a strong background that helped with balance as well. Bill just turned me on to Aurora and it has been an improvment on Photomatix. To me the greens on the rock side don't look natural.

It appears that you worked this image before deciding the best angle. The colors bring Impact to the table. there are several leading lines that allow one's eye to scan the entire image and your subjects are in a strong position. Keep up the good work Joe |

Thanks for your comments David. My exposure of the house colors match perfectly
so I didn't want them to be brighter than they were. Personal preference. |
