All our members have made most of the comments I might have made Ian. David's post work In my opinion, gave the model more prominence. One suggestion, when I have this type photo opportunity I usually take verticals and horizontals, if the backgrounds allow. This should grant me more options in post processing. |

Your end result is a far cry from the original Ian and that's a good thing. I love the feeling of the finished image. Must agree with Bill, your rendering is screaming for a full moon that should add balance. Joe's suggestion of straitening the vertical lines would add strength to your work. Think about adding a thin grey stroke to contain the image then place it next to the image with no stroke and see which one pleases you most, |

Your creation is one of the more interesting views that I have seen Guy. The bridge is a strong leading line and Big Ben is properly placed on your canvas. I agree with Isaac in terms of adding light to pronounce more definition of the bridge and buildings. I agree with David, that to my eye, Big Ben is a tad bright. Bills comment on adding some color to the sky might strengthen your beautifully photographed icon.
I have been fortunate in joining most of our members in photo shoots across the country. I would enjoy meeting David and Ian. Let's try to work it out. |

We had a good there didn't we pal. Bill and I were the last to leave at closing time as well. That said, you captured the truck from the best angle showing the mine, some out buildings and the foothills in the background and the white stroke contains the image on your canvas. One snit, I would remove the con trail. |

The image does have an HDR look doesn't it, but it was a single shot. Shooting from a boat I doubt that I could squeeze off 3 perfect shots dealing with the waves. |

A very artistic shot Joe, I am enjoying the colors, lines and shapes. It appears that you belong there. I think if you remove the globe spots, this image would have better curb appeal, keep up your artistic talent. |

I found the orig. of American stilt house. The one I submitted went into Topaz Studio-impression then Red Rock Artsy. Most of the Stilt houses are built on pilons that are hammered in place in usually less than 8 feet of water at high tide. These structures are mostly built for having fun with family and friends, swimming, boating, fishing picnics. Most have johns and are at most half a mile from the shore near a hot spot that allows them to stay in touch with the outside world with cell phones. |
