Congrats for being asked to be a part of this event Ian. This gal could be the "Jokers" girlfriend. For me, the image creates surreal suspense. What does this child have instore for itself now and the future from the nanny. Isaac's suggestions have strengthened your entry. |

I agree with the that getting down low, if done correctly, can put the viewer at eye level for most of the image. That starting point creates a more intimate image. Bill's last 2 suggestions, in my opinion, create a stronger image. I agree with David, Guy and some of the other members of S.G. 04. Bill and I have had several discussions concerning our group as to how we have helped each other. We have become friends and I think we all take away something positive from the group each month. God bless all of you. Bill and I think our group is one of the best in PSA. |

A good P.J. idea Guy. I lean toward the Mono image as I think the starkness brings more impact to the viewer. Your submission leaves viewer wondering, were the subjects playing Basketball or in a race or playing another game on a playground. The alternatives that are left with the viewer might entice some who might want to spend more time in front of this work of art in an attempt to figure out what the photog had in mind when (he or she) depressed the shutter button. |

I agree with the others Bill, you couldn't have a better leading line. at f16 or f22 all on the art appears crisp and sharp, bright colors that create impact then finished off with strong background. By the way I hardly noticed the con trails in the sky. Congrats on your HM. |

The photographic Gods have gifted you with a good photographic eye Isaac. I agree with the others, your second image is much stronger and my eye is now focused on the main subjects and the crop keeps my eye from wandering to the partial bikes and people on the right side of the original image. |

Good use of the Rule of thirds Joe. The boat creates it's own leading line, helping the Viewers eye to get to the background and the boats bright color creates interest and impact. I have been trying to figure out what the translucent yellow color represents. My only suggestion would be to try using Dehaze slider in Camera Raw to put better definition in the clouds and should darken the sky a bit. |
