Thanks for your kind comments Ian, I had to put this image up quickly as we had been on the road for two and a half weeks. I didn't pay attention to the ghosting until the image was up. I called Bill and we worked on it again and Bill solved the problem. I thank you, Guy and David for the ghosting comments. Having each others back is a help in showing and helping to correct our mistakes. A win win situation. |

A strong artsy image Ian, The white background makes your subject pop. Congrats on being asked to show your work. Hope sales are good as the Charity that helps children and adults will always be financially thirsty. Good luck. |

I am not a portrait person but have enjoyed seeing this image come alive with your P. S. and plug-in expertise. Since your arrival into our Group 4 family, I believe you have helped raise us to the highest level this group has ever attained since I have been a member. The friendships, ideas and concepts should make us better photographers and what all of us learn from each other, should provide a good platform to help PSA members enjoy a more complete photographic experience. Again, welcome to the family. |

I appreciate your input Joe. The ropes were bothersome to me but I didn't clone the front rope out as rope bridges don't crisscross the ropes from one side to the other. |

It was a realistic set up Joe. I spent a fair amount of time shooting this image from several different vantage points as I thought the scent told a good story. |

I think this image provides an interesting study. Your offering is sharp with good color and tells a story. As I viewed "Work Study" it occurred to me that the vertical lines needed to be straitened. That was accomplished by clicking on ctrl A ctrl T then pulling the arrows to straiten. As I re-visited your entry my eye was being pulled to the left so I cropped the left side. On further examination I asked myself does the railing add interest to the canvas, then cropped it out. With help from Bill Buchanan we were able to get my rendition into Study Group 4.What do you think? |

First of all your subjects are spot on within your canvas. Beautiful colors and textures, augmented by a lovely sky. The Red Rock Artsy filter adds another dimension and couple of judging points to your entry as the Impact facture comes to the forefront of the image. This filter isn't an answer for all picks but used on the right can really make a difference. Thanks for pointing out this filter to me Bill. |

I like the fact that you enjoy pushing the innovative envelope and I applaud your creativity. Your clock idea didn't cross my mind however the finished product was enjoyed for what it was. |

Another interesting subject Joe, an unusual architectural, eye catching design. Perfectly sharp, good sky and subject definition. I agree with the others, The mono has more impact for me. |
