4 Sep 17 Comment You caught the height of the emotion with good timing Ian. Guy's ideas strengthen an already good image. Sep 21st
4 Sep 17 Comment Good eye Bill, I like the composition but agree with Joe on the crop. The white building didn't bother me as much as the naked trees, I found them to be a distraction. Guy's input provides you with a stronger image. Sep 21st
4 Sep 17 Comment I agree with the others, you took the time to work the image to find the right angle before pulling the trigger even thought it took an extra effort. The rock edges provide some indirect leading lines. Your mail subject is properly placed on the canvas and the clouds provide a good backdrop. I have a 3 and 10 stop neutral density filters. the 3 might have been a help in calming down the mid day glare. Sep 21st
4 Sep 17 Comment The subject fits perfectly in your frame. The photo is tack sharp plus showing strong reds that adds impact and boasts a good sky. I agree with Isaac, the birds pulls my eye away from the main subject. A strong shot for your next calendar. Sep 20th
4 Sep 17 Comment Living in Buffalo for 40+ yrs., you can imagine how many times I have shot the whole area. Have also seen many other photog's renditions and to me your Sept. entry is one of the best. The 10 stop filter is the racers edge for a shot like this, congrats Isaac. Sep 20th
4 Sep 17 Comment I am pleased with your image as well Joe however I agree with Guy and Isaac the red structure does compete with the boat. In my opinion Isaac's foreground crop creates a stronger image. Pleased to see you using HDR. Many of my pieces that have been sold in the last 4 years or so, many of the buyers have stated that their new purchase looks different than other renderings but many of them can't put a finger on what the difference is. I then explain the HDR process to them. Sep 20th
4 Sep 17 Comment Thanks for asking Guy, I have a large home generator that kept us cool for 6 days when most didn't have power. Our large oak tree got a good haircut however no branches fell on the house. The windows were boarded up and that prevented glass damage. We are very fortunate as many family's lost everything. As to Isaac's color boost, it appears to strong and unnatural on my screen. Sep 19th
4 Sep 17 Comment Good catch Guy, the day was overcast however I just increased the Vibrance and Brightness and that made a small difference. Sep 5th
