I like the composition, especially the reflection. When I processed pictures as a 14 year old kid I used a pantry rigged as a darkroom. Mine would be 75 years old.

The ship's name interests me because I remember what happened to a ship of that name during WWII. The thing I find most fascinating about the image. Is she really that color or was it simply a reflection of the water?

Your writeup of this delightful picture was very instructive. If I were ever to try nature shooting I would reread your description to learn how to do it. |

I can imagine myself walking down that street, so I find it interesting that way. I appreciate the way it makes it look like a long walk. An image like this causes problems for me because I don't like the star effects on the lamps. I've never been able to solve it in my own pictures, so I can't make an intelligent suggestion. |

It makes me think of a waterfall, and that way it works quite well. I particularly like the multiple falls at the top and the single one at the lower part. If it were mind I think I'd increase the contrast in bright part of the sandstone on the right in the middle |
