I usually dislike starburst effects, but this one works very well for me. I like the foreground, and in this case, since it is an airplane, I'm happy with the large sky. I would suggest enlarging the image a tad on the right so that the light isn't at the edge. ( I rarely suggest something like this, which means that for me it is a significant issue). |

What amazes me is your statement that you spent 15 minutes shooting the bird. Do you mean that it was manipulating (or whatever the correct word for adjusting with a beak is) this one fish for 15 minutes, or did it find other fish or other interesting things? And, by the way, a great image! |

I'm very impressed - I don't think I take 2000 photos in a year! And I find it a lovely portrait of what appears to be an pleasant woman. I do agree with Isaac's cleanup. |

For me this is a wonderful image. This shot should give some judges a good lesson: recently at camera club a judge kept complaining that Travel pictures didn't convey the impression of the place. For example this shot might not look like classical Spain. So the one point of showing it (besides the spectacular shape and form) is to educate us about what we can now see in old cities. |

I think you did a great job with the stark blacks and whites, and the fact that the sky at left isn't as dark as the rest of the sky makes it more interesting. I suggest cropping some from the top, even at the risk of having the horizon in the center. |

I love the light on her face, and the way you managed to make the face clearly visible while most of the rest of her is somewhat obscured by the curtain. And you got a great expression and wonderful catchlights. |

Last night a judge recommended that I crop the narrow yellow bar on the far right. What do you think? |
