Thanks for your comments and edits, Mary Ann! I totally forgot about the details of the doors and windows but focus on the sky and walkway only. My bad! |

Hi Mary Ann,
You've got an impactful image! Your image captured a scary encounter of the grizzly bear coming face-to-face towards your camera with an aggressive look.
I agree with Andres that the grizzly's right claws are fearsome. I also wish to see his left foot but I understand that it's hard to get it through the fence and to avoid the glare. Nice shot! |

Hi Ruth,
You have achieved nice visual effects in your conceptual composite: the storm, the silhouette of the trees, and the birds. I especially like the layout, shape and the silhouette of the trees that are so beautiful! The 3 birds add more impact to the scene.
I found that the bird on the top right looks unusual with the elongated body and truncated-like wingtips. Is that bird a modified version from the original bird? Overall, it's a successful composite, and thanks for sharing your technique! |

Hi Andres,
It's a very interesting plant! I just learned what a "mayapple" is today, via Google search. Mayapple has unique characteristics: it has two umbrella-like leaves, and a single white flower with 6-9 petals blooms in May, hidden under the leaves.
For this image, I agree with Ruth to enhance the color of the flowers and to crop tighter to eliminate some blurry areas. I'd prefer to eliminate the ground area as well, to focus on the flowers and some of their leaves only. Thanks for sharing your good find! |

Hi Robert,
The flowers look fresh and so beautiful! The good lighting, and composition work well make them stand out from the pink background. Well done! |

Hi Ruth,
You've captured a great shot through the screen door. I like the angle of your photo that shows the interaction of the two cats. Buttercup is so adorable with a heart-shaped marking on its fur! Nice shot! |

Hi Susan,
The different shades of brown color and textures are pleasing to the eyes. I'd prefer to darken the reflection of 2 bright spots on the top left corner a bit. Other than that, I love the leaf design on your coffee shot. I'd want to learn how to make that leaf latte art too. It makes the coffee so yummy! Nice capture! |

Hi Wayne,
In this image, the rule if thirds is well done in your composition technique when you want to place extra emphasis on the dramatic clouds. I agree that the separation between the boat and the mountains would make the image stronger, as in Steven's edited version. Thanks for sharing your spectacular clouds. |

Hi Jack,
The composition works well with different layers of sand dunes. I like the way you presented the image with the wavy details of sand ripples in the foreground, and the curvy sand dunes in further distance.
I'd suggest to convert it into B&W to focus the viewers' attention to the sand dune patterns. Nice shot! |

Hi Steven,
Your presented image seems as a B&W image to me. So, I think that conversion to B&W will work well. The building seen through the clock, and the silhouette of one man raising his phone to capture a photo make the image more interesting!
Only one minor suggestion is to crop tighter the bottom of the image because it does not contain any additional info to the image. Nice shot! |
