Thanks, Michael, for your comments.
When I traveled, I normally had both my DSLR camera and my mobile phone. It depends on each situation, for example, I will use my phone for a quick shot or a very wide angle while I will use my DSLR for a landscape. In this image, I think that I used my phone to capture it because the group is moving fast. For each photo, I did use the app to enhance the sharpness or color a bit. I agree that the post processing software could do it better. |

Hi Michael,
You have created a beautiful image using ICM technique. The white trunks of trees in the foreground with the golden fall color background makes it like an impressionist painting. I wonder if the scene was taken in Aspen, CO?
In my personal opinion, I think the blue color of the chairs is a bit too strong and it does not convey a smooth color transition. I also have one question : What's your intention to capture the two chairs with one half hidden behind the tree? |

Hi Andres,
The "Guernica" is a powerful anti-war abstract painting of Picasso. Your post processing is great to be able to display the entire scene and to remove the guard.
The inclusion of the visitor also makes you as the image maker. The visitor's leaning position towards the bottom of the painting is a bit awkward but it makes the viewer focus more on the laying & screaming man on the floor. Her outfit matches well with the B&W of the painting. Nice work done! |

Hi Robert,
Nice shot! The fox's head is very sharp and its eyes are striking! The branch in the foreground is not in focus but it works for me since it's a "shoot·through" technique.
Your 1:1 crop makes the image more beautiful!

Hi Ruth,
It's an intriguing image that makes me study more. The long, wooden ladder is the most significant item in the Taos Pueblo village. I learned that people had to climb up to the roof to get into the house because there was no standard doorways.
The mud adobe outdoor oven, with the shape of a beehive, is also an interesting part.
Your post processing is great by making the cloudy sky, and the sun-dried clay of the houses more beautiful. It's amazing to see that in the original image, there are no signs of clouds at all! How did you do that ? |

Hi Mary Ann,
You did a great job of capturing those cranes in flight. The birds are sharp and are flying separatedly from each other, which is a big +. The background is also clean with beautiful clouds.
I'd suggest to remove a row of dark spots on the sky (which could be other flying birds). They are a bit distracting since they are not clearly visible. Nice shot! |

Although it's called henna tattoo, henna is really a temporary stain left by a plant-based paste. Henna sits on the skin's surface only and lasts for a few days while a tattoo is permanent as ink pierces the skin.
I did have a henna tattoo on that day too! LOL! |

Hi Jack,
Your image is so beautiful as the way it is presented. The white frame nested inside rusted and stained walls draw the viewer's eyes there. The composition works well. I like the painterly effect of it. Well done! |

Hi Ruth,
You have captured a nice photo of your friends! The colors of their clothes make the image more vivid, and the way they look at each other definitely show their affection.
I'd suggest to use the frame with non distorted edges in Snapseed to enhance the mood of your image. |

Hi Wayne,
Your image of succulent plants shot from top down works well. The concept of using the brown leaf that is in different shape, color, texture to break up the patterns in photography does catch the viewer's attention. In my personal opinion, I'd prefer to show the entire leaf for more visual impact.
