Changing the color of her mask would be best! |

Mary Ann,
You should visit the cherry blossoms in Tidal Basin next year. I missed the blossoms for the last 2 years because the access to cherry blossoms was cut off due to the Covid pandemic. |

Hi Ruth,
I like the way you used the structure of the dock to frame the boat in the perfect position. The waves coming to the shore add more impact to the scene.
I'd prefer to enhance the highlights and crop tighter on the foreground a bit to eliminate something like the seaweed or shells that were left on the sand.

Hi John,
You are very creative in this street photography. The set up looks very natural. The image is sharp, and the colors are beautiful.
One nitpick, I'd prefer the face of the woman is a bit higher so that her mask does not blend with the horizontal line of the barrel. |

Hi Mary Ann,
Fog is extremely difficult to photograph, especially with the moving subjects. The color saturation is weak that makes the scene looks a bit flat. Although you experienced the challenging conditions, you can be proud that you were able to capture a natural moody, and feeling of the fog with the interaction of the two deers.
I'd prefer to keep the foggy background because it's not easy to find the deers in that scene. I'd suggest to increase the contrast in post processing a bit more.

Hi Michael,
Your image is very interesting to me! For some reasons, I have never seen the blue heron in its nest. I always see the pictures of this bird near the water or waiting to catch fish on the rocks. Your close-up image is very sharp with all the details of its eye and feathers.
I'd suggest you to crop tighter on the right as a square format to diminish the busy background. Your image could win big in nature competition because it's different than the norm. |

Hi LuAnn,
Your tulip stands out from the norm. The green leaf and the uneven petals on the right make the difference. The dark background and your post processing have rendered it more beautiful.
I'd prefer to crop a bit on the top and from the right hand side to make it more balance inside the frame.

Your image reminds me of the autumn ginkgo leaves. The dark background makes all the details of the iris stand out. The angle you shot shows the beautiful petal of the flower. For some reasons, I think that the petals on the top compete with the open petal in the front. I'd prefer to lighten the top part a bit more to accentuate the open petal. |

Very nice image! You were able to capture the different patterns of the sand in one scene. The diagonal shadow that runs across the sand dunes and behind the mesquite trees make the image more interesting. The composition is very well done with the trees raising above the horizon line. The moon is a big plus to the scene! Great shot!

The oil painting effect makes the tiny flower more interesting! I appreciate the way you compare the size of the flower to the coin to show the scale of the flower. I'd prefer to reduce the stroke of the painting a bit to make it more natural. |

The petals frame the stamens and the dreamy effect make the flower pleasing to the eyes.
I'd prefer to see the petal near the middle part on the left more open to see more of the stamens. |

Hi Belinda,
I like the way you used a tall fence to describe the lock down. I can see that you captured the image with great consideration. The fence line nicely aligns with the ground level and the picnic table.
Thanks for sharing the sad story about the negligence of that industrial company. I wish to see more of the impact via the image to raise more awareness about our environmental issues. |

Hi Bob,
Your infrared image is very interesting! I was amazed that it was captured by your iphone and a filter. The angle you shot works well with different layers of trees, the gazebo (?), and the water reflection.
I agree with Belinda that the scene would be more stunning without clouds or lighter clouds so that the trees can stand out more in the background. |
