Mary Ann,
I had the same issues of losing quality image when resizing it before. There are some recommendations to deal with that, and one of them is to convert the image into smart object. Included is Brendan Williams' Youtube video for you to try: https://youtu.be/jxxjuXS4bQs

LuAnn,
It's a beautiful image! The different colors of the calla lily are beautiful and make it stand out from the black background. Your decision to keep the flower on the left side works for me. I agree with Ruth and Mary Ann that a tighter crop would reduce the empty space and make the image stronger. |

Ruth,
The inclusion of 2 people heading to the dunes after the snowstorm makes this image so compelling and interesting! I like the way you captured them in the white ground area, with a bit of separation between them and between the base line of the sand dunes. They also give a sense of scale to the vast scene. The drama clouds adds additional impact. It's a very interesting image, and I don't have any suggestion for improvement.
The B&W version is also beautiful! |

Michael,
Very nice image! You should be happy to have stopped to capture this scene on your way. The rocks are sharp, with different details, shapes, and sizes that created an interesting layout.
Your use of ND filter and slow speed have rendered a silky water, and your post processing to remove the shoreline is the right choice.
In my personal opinion, I like the color version more, just because the B&W needs strong lines and patterns to stand out. Well done! |

Mary Ann,
It's a beautiful image! You've got the nice light, good composition, and great clouds. The small waves at the rocks add more feeling to the scene. Very well done!
For some reasons, I feel that the original image is a bit darker and sharper than the one currently displayed for comments. |

Hi Lisa,
You have captured a nice image that included the nude woman statue at the Jardins du Trocadéro to the Eiffel tower. Your image stands out from the norm. It represents a conceptual photography that starts with an interesting idea of a nude woman sitting at the plaza looking forever at the Eiffel tower. I really like it!
Your image is very sharp, and you were able to get the entire tower in the frame. Since the woman is looking to the right, I'd prefer to see the Eiffel tower on her right side (may be by moving a few steps further to the right to capture it). Also, I'd prefer to remove the sign "Rolland Garros" underneath the Eiffel tower. |

Gene,
Your image and its story are interesting! The image seems to be created by multiple exposure shots, but it's actually by the window reflection on the tank. The building in the background seems to be dominant, and the story of the salmon with eggs and bubbles cannot be clearly seen.
I'd prefer to darken the fish and blur the building more to emphasize the main subject.

Pat,
You have created a fun composite image! The two blue unicorn fish are sharp, and their appearance (snout, eyes, nose, and mouth) looks aggressive while the angelfish looks peaceful ones. That might only be seen by their appearances; in fact, angelfish tends to exhibit an aggressive and territorial nature amongst other fish. I wonder whether these 2 kinds of fish can be kept in the same fish tank?
For this image, I'd prefer to see the angelfish swimming on the opposite side of the unicorn ones to create a story-telling and compelling image. |

Ruth,
The red color and the ed petals of the spider lilies are eye catching. Your image is quite sharp and the close up shot shows all the details of the petals well.
I feel that the crop is a bit too tight. I'd prefer to see more of their long stems which could showcase the elegance of these beautiful flowers.
Happy holidays to you and your family! |

Gene, Thanks for your comments on the perspective. I totally forgot the trees on the left. I only used the white poles on the right as the goal to rotate and straighten my image. I should use the perspective tools to correct it.

Jack,
Thanks for your comments. I agree with you that the effects of Tangled FX on the ground is a bit strange but I want to try the new design and do not want to create a layer mask to bring back the original ground area. I will try with another apps to see whether it's feasible. |

Hi Jack,
It's a beautiful image! The lines of the sand dunes are so perfectly created by Mother of Nature. The diagonal shape at the top of the dunes and its brown color that continued with a dark shadow of the hills on the right also created a strong impact to the scene. This is a very well designed (or well seen) image! It's simple but contains all the elements for a great image. Very well done and I really like it! |

Michael,
The composition of this image is beautiful! The scene in B&W looks like a traditional Japanese art form. I'd suggest you to create a natural pastel photo effect in post processing to transform it into another art form. |
