Calla lilies are my favorite flowers. It's a nice idea to capture the photo of your friend's gift. The flowers will fade away but the image will remain forever. Snce the fireplace has the black color, I'd prefer to capture it at another angle, with the fireplace as the entire background to make the calla lillies more stand out. LuAnn's edited version has achieved this. I think that your friend Linda will be happy to see your image. |

Thanks everyone for your comments. Since I want a blurred background for this flower, the small aperture won't help. I think that the focus stacking with tripod might be better, but this image was captured handheld in a garden. |

Your image is so cool, Lisa! It looks like an image with a multi-exposure in camera technique setting. Although I wish to see more of the top of the palm trees but I think that it's hard to achieve since the trees are so tall. The sunset is beautiful and the people add life to the scene. The color of your second version gives more interest to the scene. |

Randolph, You captured an unusual scene of a dried palm tree frond still attached to the strong palm tree. The dried frond still has a lot of brown leaves on it. It makes me smile to think that it looks like an ending performance of a dancing couple, with the dried palm frond as the lady and the palm tree as her partner. I also appreciated your inclusion of the whole scene for better understanding. |

Your post processing is nicely done in this image. I am curious to know whether you replaced the background with a textured background or not. The bird is sharp, and all the details of its feathers can be clearly seen. I'd prefer to adjust the color of the agave plant a bit since I feel that its color is leaning towards a blueish one. The image is beautiful and it looks like a painting. |

It's a beautiful image that drives me to study more on the scene I have never seen before: the cutting of reeds, and the transportation by boat. What amazed me that you were able to condense the whole story of many scenes in one image. I wish to see the connection of the people who cut the reeds and those who transported them, such as the people on the right just loaded the reeds on the boat. In this image, the position of the 2 boats on the left indicated that they departed from somewhere else, not from the right side in this image.
I'd suggest to split this image in half to show only the 2 boats and the scene in the background.
The image is very sharp, the sky and the colors of the reeds are beautiful, but the blue color of the water seems a bit too strong to me. Overall, it's a wonderful travel photo! |

You have captured beautiful roses! They are at their best stage, and the orange colors convey the enthusiasm and energy. Your frame selection and vignette work well in this image.

The title of your image makes me figure out where the man is. I'd prefer to see his silhouette more clearer. You have a great imagination to put the moon, the rain, and the man in this composite! The texture added to the moon works fine.
My suggestion is to convert the silhouette of the man into B&W and put the orange color to the moon. |

Very creative image! When I look at your image, it makes me going back and forth your original one to figure out which part has transformed into the final one (just like reverse engineering) but I give up! 😆Your final image has become an abstract art piece, and the blue sky has been eliminated. |

You have captured an interesting cloudy sky and canola fields of the Palouse! Since the cloud is more interesting than the fields in this scene, your composition works very well by showing more of the sky. The scene is beautiful! For my personal taste, since the canola fields are so neat, I'd prefer to have a tree or a person in the far end to bring out more impact. |

Your image stands out from the norm. The white lacy layer only covers 1/3 of the frame then phases out. I'd prefer to see the center of the yellow flower sharper. Your image intrigues me to study more on the layer that you used in Ephoto 360. |

You definitely achieved the "industrial drama" in your post processing. The final image shows that it was well thought with the Grunge and Vignette added. Well done!
