The purple color of the onion flowers is beautiful. I like these flowers too, especially they have long stems that stand out as individual flowers,
I agree with Michael that the bench is distracting, and the diagonal leaf as well. I'd suggest to only retain 5 flowers on the left (as Michael's edited version) for better composition since the full resolution of Iphone image is quite large (around 3 Mb) that allows you to crop tighter without losing details. |

This edited version seems too tight for me. I like the first one you submitted more, but the windmill is clearly seen in the 2nd version. |

It's nice to experiment in B&W conversion. The trees with big shade are so dominant in this image that render the barns secondary subjects. The cloudy sky and the sand are interesting. The barn on the right could be cropped out because it is not in full but since its long shadow was there, so I think you should keep it in the image. I'd prefer to clone out the triangle shadow on the right hand corner that is distracting. |

Thanks, Stephen for visiting our group and for your comments. I agree with you that the clean bench is inviting people to come and sit, especially in the rose garden. |

Mary Ann,
Thanks for your comments. Per your suggestion and Michael's, I straightened the bricks using Perspective tool in Snapseed. Please let me know if it works better. |

Capturing this image in vertical shot is a great choice! It leads my eyes from the reflection of the water in the foreground and moves up to the trees on top of the cliffs in the background. Having a hiker makes the scene more lively and also gives the sense of scale to the immensity of that place.
I'd prefer to add a warming tone to the top part since it seems a bit over saturated there. |

Great shot! The backlit light has emphasized the feathers around the bird. I especially like the leaves in front of the bird that were lightened up, which gave the impression that they are young ones among the whole scene. It corresponds well with the young bird, and the young curvy branch. |

Your image has strong impact, and it stands out from the norm. The setting with the filling leaves hanging from both sides of the vase, the dying flowers, and the textured background all work well together to add drama to the scene. I really like it! Well done! |

Your setting for the image is natural and beautiful! The slice of pear opens the door for viewers to learn more about its texture and seed. The angle you shot with layers of the cutting board is also intriguing. I'd prefer to lighten the background a bit to make the pears stand out more. |

Thanks Michael for your comments and your suggestion to capture a straight-on picture so that the bricks in the foreground will be aligned better. I think that I can use Perspective tool to straighten the bricks but it might be too static. |

Thanks, Belinda! In my local camera club, one speaker had a workshop to do light painting at the Capitol columns, and then added the moon to the scene. It's so eerie and different! Of course, she had special permission to access to the park at dark. |

The colors of the splash paint effect match nicely with the colors of the flowers. That also created a strong impact to your image. Very creative and well done!
Thank you for sharing the Drip Art Effect apps. |

This image is so beautiful! By avoiding the usual representations of the object, the colors, shapes, and lines have made this image more intriguing.
I really love these kinds of abstract images because they revealed details that are normally ignored and trigger the viewers' imagination.

Your post processing has made this image so beautiful! The HDR setting is just right to make the scene natural and at the same time emphasize the colors and the details of the ceiling. The position of the guy on the left corner is nice too since he has space in front of him to move into. I am glad that you were able to capture this image with less people because the Union station is always crowded. Well done! |

Nice composition! The ducks' feather colors are so beautiful. I guess that they are a male and a female duck, and it's said that the male always has nicer color and appearance (such as lion, peacock). With that, I assume that the colored one is a male duck and the B&W is a female one.
The heads of the ducks are quite sharp. I'd prefer to sharpen their bodies a bit more. |

Thanks Phill and Belinda for your comments and your additional information regarding the Capitol columns. I always love to learn the history, the culture, or the story of the scene when I captured my images.
I added the tint to the above image using Snapseed to make it different. Please let me know which one is better.
