I recognized this image you submitted last year.
Your image is a documentary photography, and it's sad to see that this French post office was vandalized with graffiti.
Congrats for selling a copy of your image!

Nice shot of Valparaiso, Chile! The image is very sharp and the colorful houses are beautiful. The winding roads also lead my eyes to further distance.
I'd prefer to crop tighter to eliminate the top of the trees at the bottom of the image. I don't mind to leave the high-rise building on the top right of the image there because it belongs to the urban development of Valparaiso. |

The iguana has a nice camouflage by the nature, its colors are blended so well to the color of the branches and leaves. I'd prefer to see its face more clearly. |

I guess that this is Kansas State Capitol Building, which has the dome similar to the Capitol in Washington, DC.
You have captured this image from different perspective, with the glass walls, the rails, and the reflection of the lights in circles (probably from the hotel). I'd prefer to focus closer to the Capitol because although it was lighted up at night, there are a lot of competing elements around it. |

Well done with your macro lens and your capture through the window! The bird is sharp, and the background is clean. The diagonal line of the branch adds more dynamic to the image. I'd prefer to crop tighter from the bottom of the image to eliminate the blurry bush area.
Jim! As you'll be leaving this group, I wish you lots of success and happiness in your new job! Thanks for all of your help during the past few years. |

Thanks Larry for visiting our group and for your comments. The catch lights were added in post processing.
I chose this frame because the dog hair is wavy and has the brown color similar to the design and color of the frame. Also, I got the inspiration to frame the picture of the dog from the historic Blennerhassett Hotel in West VA, where I traveled there for business a few years ago. |
