Thanks everyone for your comments. I captured this dragon dance at the opening of the Lunar New Year celebration event. I also had an image of lion dance taken at the same event that I submitted in March 2018. You can revisit it to see the difference betwwen those two dances. |

Nice capture of beautiful feathers with all the details and colors of the peacock! There was a time that I waited for more than 2 hours but was unable to see the peacock open its feathers. I'd prefer to darken the peacock's legs a bit more to make them connected to his body. |

Nice try on still life photography! I like the different shapes and colors of all your items. I agree with Ruth that the bread and scoop could be omitted to make the viewers focus more on the front area. I'd prefer to lighten more on the items on the back because they are blending to the background. |

Beautiful sisterly love scene! I like the way the younger girl wraps her arms around her sister and pulls her tighter to herself. Their facial expression and their smiles are so sweet and natural. I'd suggest you to add the catchlight in their eyes to make their eyes more beautiful. You could capture a lot of good pictures from these cuties because they are not shy from the camera and their sisterly love is so natural! |

The color of the grasshopper stands out from the surrounding leaves. The leaves in a diagonal line also created a nice composition. I'd prefer to crop tighter on the right side to eliminate the leaves in the shade and blur the busy branches and leaves in the background a bit more. Nice capture! |

Beautiful night shot! I am curious to know whether you used any processing tools to enhance the buildings and make them separated from the dark background? Although the buildings were placed at the center of the image, the water reflection with beautiful colors has captured all the viewers' attention. |

Thanks for your comments. As you might know that I am not Chinese, but I love to learn about other culture. When I saw the pearl at the dragon dance, I did not understand why they had it either. The description above is based on my research on Dragon Dance (Wikipedia) via this link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_dance.
I do hope that my description will make the viewers understand more about my image. |
