At first, I set my camera to Bulb and used the remote shutter release to capture the fireworks. After a few images, I decided to increase ISO to 400 so that the Lincoln memorial and the boats in the foreground can be seen more clearly. I just want to experiment with different settings to see what works best.

3 Jul 18 Comment I like the way you framed the Louvre and also had an open gate leading to it. The lady with her pink umbrella also brought life to the scene. I agreed with other comments above that adding the tip of the pyramid could add more impact to the image. Jul 30th
3 Jul 18 Comment Great shot! You've got the right moment to capture the boat entering the sea cave. I'd prefer to lighten the cave where the boat is and darken the outside a bit more to draw the viewer's eyes to the cave entrance. Jul 30th
3 Jul 18 Comment The color of the frog and its position made it stand out from the surrounding environment. I'd prefer to lighten the background a bit so that it won't compete with the subject. Jul 30th
3 Jul 18 Comment This image is intriguing! When I look at it, I want to study more. The shapes, and colors work well together. I really like it! Jul 28th
3 Jul 18 Comment Congratulations on your daughter's wedding, Jim! The description of your image showed us the parenthood and the joy of this special occasion. The picture, captured by Iphone and processed by Snapseed, is beautiful! I'd prefer to see the complete, beautiful wedding dress of the bride. Jul 28th

Jul 31st
