I prefer more subtle version of b&w with lighter background and stems however some more details on petals would be appreciated.
Color version has more impact but is more ordinary.

I must say I prefer composition of the original. I like shape of the armchair and space behind it.
As far as high key conversion ; It is nice but I like her
freckles and would prefer to see them.As we see from Jim comments this is very personal. |

I like the image and would try to burn some highlights. these are not big area so should work well.
Allen suggestion to shot for HDR sounds good. |

Jim, I definitely prefer single picture with lake ,fog and grasses.
However I see Tom's point. Grasses occupy a lot of space and compete for attention with distant scene.
What about cropping part of the grasses , would help?
I was trying also square image. |
