Thank you so much Tom,
Almost too many programs to investigate , but it is true that necessity of Adobe subscription is not quite fair and most people just do not need it. |

From given choices I am voting for Tom's version.
Expression is great. For me cutting the front leg is a bit distracting so closer crop works better than original.
I was trying to crop even more but did not like. |

I like this shot very much. To me your crop works very well and the boat is in perfect position. I do not mind halos. |

Beautiful dynamic composition.
I like b&w version even is a bit sad. The b&w version covers small imperfection of the color image.
I would just sharpen butterfly in the b&w version and retrieved a bit more detail in his body.
Color version is much more alive. I was trying to work on background as I thought that is a bit distracting but not sure if I like my version, I also moved a bit main flower from the edge.
I like Tom's version as well |

Tom,
I like what you achieved and I think your cleanup technique is very good.
These overlapping elements were probably not the easiest .
I am reading your conversation with Allen and trying to understand why you are bracketing.
Did you use f22 and this same focus point for all 3 images, right?
You bracketed exposure to get dark background and details in white, right?
I found the difference is ss between shots very big -this confused me.
For what is Affinity software? |
