I like her pride -you got great moment.Side window light is very nice. I agree with you about tight cropping.In the original the lady hand and way she holds grandchild is taking away from the story.
The black and white conversion works well. If I would need the color version of the image I would desaturate blue of her blouse.
Ideally I would like to get attention of the boy as well or get him looking at the Great Gramma.
What drive mode did you use? I use continuous shooting in such situations to get choice after. |

Color photo shows beautiful fall scenery but is more ordinary shot.The black and white version is about water and rock.
as Allen mention fascinating contrast and well executed postprocessing. |

One part of me is saying:this is great image, dynamic lines, good balance ,
The second part of me is saying "but this is bridge.should not look like that ."
so what it is great, original image !!
