1 Jan 24 Comment The angle of the rail works well to bring the eye into the scene. Good range of tones throughout. A capture that will much to you. Jan 18th
1 Jan 24 Comment The lines of the roof and the windows make an almost abstract image, for me. So I played with bringing that out. I wonder if keeping the foreground is even needed but I did leave it in, although darkened. Jan 18th
1 Jan 24 Comment Isn't it wonderful what the phone camera can do!? The detail in the buildings with the full range a gray tones was captured but the whites of the street lamps still show the rays of light. Works well as the B&W you made. Jan 18th
1 Jan 24 Comment I like the lighting too. I think the bird could be a bit brighter as the scene overall is dark. It's a good capture as the egret would either be flying off in a second or swallowing its dinner. Jan 18th
1 Jan 24 Comment The darker background really help bring the riders into sharp focus. There is a rather sharp dividing line between the ground and the stands that could be softened or slightly blurred.. The action of the scene pops out well and the angle of the horses adds some tension to the scene. It's a good capture under what is always a tough situation. Jan 18th
1 Jan 24 Comment This seems like a valiant effort to make something out of very little to start with. Certainly the result is an improvement. Removing the wires, adding the color, creating some sky all help and those "improvements" are well done. Jan 18th

51 Jan 24 Comment Although you have to be far from the plumes, you've made them seem real and clear. They show well with the sky behind. Wide tonal range throughout. Good balance with the main geyser is a good place. Jan 18th
51 Jan 24 Comment That human interest on the left adds so much to the scene. I also caught the horizon line thing. Seems like we all fall prey to that from time to time. Such isolation on a lovely beach. Well captured. Jan 18th
51 Jan 24 Comment Very inviting path that I'd like to wander down. Just enough curve in the path to add some interest. The stand of trees is well placed. Good exposure. Jan 18th
51 Jan 24 Comment The cropping certainly helps. Still, the background behind the fence could be darkened. Beautiful buck with antlers almost lost in the leaves. Jan 18th
51 Jan 24 Comment The result is simple and elegant. You didn't say how you separated the leaf from the original background? The diagonal of the leaf is right on. Jan 18th
51 Jan 24 Comment Huge, wide open spaces well captured here. I like how the main windmill is offset from the center just a bit. I wonder what the shutter speed is since none of the blades seem to be moving. I think our phones show meta data? Jan 18th
